Obra de la Sociedad Abolicionista Española sobre la aplicación de la ley de abolición de la esclavitud en Puerto Rico. El texto expone una representación al ministerio de Ultramar contra el reglamento dictado para ejecutar la ley de 1873 y pide su reforma por considerarlo contrario a sus principios. También reclama el cumplimiento de las disposiciones sobre indemnización a los antiguos poseedores y sobre las medidas de beneficencia y trabajo para los libertos.
