Summary
A Western mystery told by Sleepy Stevens centers on his work with Hashknife Hartley for the Triangle A outfit and on a newspaper notice about a silver-mounted saddle. The story also sketches the rough reputations of the two riders and then turns to a round-up show in Pemberton, where they enter a bucking contest and face fierce outlaw broncs while trying to secure the saddle prize.
