Summary
Brent Dalgreen returns from a year on the Moon weakened by radiation and low gravity, but still determined to spend his time with the art world. At the Metropolitan Museum, he is struck by a contemporary landscape whose unsettling quality reminds him of the alien feeling he struggled to paint on the Moon. The story follows his attempt to understand that sensation and the strange connection between lunar experience and painting.
