Mike, an out-of-work crooner, hears that Vera has been placed by a mysterious new agent and goes with her to a remote office in Pennsylvania. Inside, he finds a strange gathering of struggling performers and meets the Quoron brothers, whose talent agency seems to operate from an isolated, highly unusual setting.
