Summary
In a newspaper city room, Ed Kerry and the others field odd phone calls from strangers asking obscure factual questions, and the staff is usually able to answer them. The routine is disrupted when Ted Ruhling calls about a man claiming to be from another space-time continuum, prompting the editors to treat it as a possible story. The conversation turns to science fiction and the idea of alternative universes while Kitty Kildare also appears with a story for her column.
