Science fiction
On a flight to Mars, James Gerris discovers a wounded young stowaway who has escaped from a correctional institution. Returning her to Earth is difficult, but the small research colony has almost no spare space or privacy. Her arrival forces Gerris to confront a problem that his expedition was never equipped to handle.
