Summary
Set in Monte Vista on rodeo day, the story follows Sheriff Joe Cook as he must deal with a dangerous outlaw, Manuel Perida, who has robbed a drug store and shot two men. At the same time, his deputy Shorty McKay is more concerned with competing in the International Covered Wagon race, where he represents America. The race setup also includes Señor Julio Quijano, whose daughter Marie unexpectedly drives Mexico’s entry.
